No news isn't bad news ...

If you are wondering why I haven't updated for a while, do not fret. Adam is fine. I have just entered a phase in which, for some reason, it is proving all too much of an effort for me to put together a coherent update. Maybe now I've broken the ceasefire, even with this smallest of posts, I will find the motivation to compose something of greater length and significance.

  1. I signed up to the British Bone Marrow Register shortly after I turned 17. It's now 10 years later and I received a letter a few weeks ago saying I'm a "potential match" for someone needing bone marrow.

I've got to wait until the tests come back to see if my tissue type is a good enough match.

I'm trying to raise the awareness of bone marrow transplants and the vital role that people can play in this. I've been writing an article to help with this and to hopefully answer any questions that people may have about donating bone marrow.

Adam and Dad - you are heroes! God bless both of you.
